This bespoke GREAT British Tea is created by Tregothnan for 10 Downing Street, and designed to showcase to the world the very best of British produce. The government’s GREAT initiative invites the world to trade with Britain. With this project Tregothnan celebrates the fact that tea cuts across all sections of community.
The strongest of Tregothnan’s brews, this blend is a hearty mix of Cornish tea leaves and the most premium Assam. This Great British Tea could also be described as a ‘builder’s brew’, strong enough to appeal to those who like a deep, dark colour and flavour from their tea.
Use water just off the boil. Brew for 2 to 4 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea – we recommend 3 minutes of steeping time before tasting.
